Barry Marr

Barry Marr moved to the Omemee area in 1979 with his wife and three children. Barry worked at Gay Lea Foods for more than 25 years ending his career as a Supervisor. Barry was the Chair of the Omemee Hydro Chest Fund and in 2007 became a founding member and President of the Omemee Medical Centre, a position only he has held. Barry also volunteers at the Omemee Food Bank.

Veronica Nelson

Veronica Nelson lives and works in the Kawartha Lakes for over 30 years. Veronica was a Founding Director on the Omemee Medical Centre Board contributing to physician recruitment and building development at that time. She has recently rejoined the Board bringing expertise in governance, healthcare and executive leadership.

Linda Morrison

Linda Morrison, her husband and daughter moved to the City of Kawartha Lakes in 1992. Linda worked at Toronto Hydro for 18 years ending her career as a billing clerk. Linda has been the treasurer of the Omemee Medical Centre since 2010. She is also the treasurer and volunteer at the Omemee Food Bank.

Betty Lou Pelling

Betty Lou Pelling was born in Lindsay and is a lifetime resident of Omemee. Betty Lou and her husband are blessed with a daughter, two grandchildren and one great-grandson. She worked at Omemee Foodland for over 30 years. Betty Lou has given back to her community by having served nine years on the Omemee Council, chaired the Omemee Business. She also chaired the Victoria County Disaster Trust Fund for 15 years. Betty Lou has been on the Omemee Medical Centre Board since its inception in 2007.

Colette Vollering

Colette Vollering is a retired CEO of the French River Public Library. She moved to Pigeon Lake in 2000 and married a local business man. She worked part time at Coles Bookstore in Lindsay and Peterborough. Colette has been volunteering at Good Neighbours Care Centre in Peterborough since 2014 and has been a director of the Omemee Medical Center since 2017.

Graham Bayly

Graham Bayly moved to Omemee in early 2000 as a place to retire in a forever home. He has never regretted it. Graham joined the Omemee Medical Centre Board of Directors as a Recording Secretary and then as a Director. This was his way to give back to the community and to become involved. Graham worked twenty-five years for Ontario Hydro and then Ontario Power Generation as an Engineer.

Suzanne Cody

Suzanne Cody originating from Toronto, has called the Kawartha Lakes home for over 20 years. Suzanne is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), obtaining her designation in 1998 and is a Senior partner in a Peterborough accounting firm. She joined the Omemee Medical Centre Board in 2017.
